I just had to vent! As an agent at Boca Executive Realty, I wear my blackberry almost everywhere. I've had a good year despite the economic turndown and my simple answer to people is pick up your phone. I just had a client call me and ask if I could find them an agent in Cape May, NJ. I went on line and found a few who seemed to be qualified but 2 of the 3 didn't even pick up their cell phones. If they can't pick up their phone, what kind of service should I expect they will give the client. I often refer to these as "money calls". I think if you don't pick up your phone on Monday, you give up the right to complain about the market on Tuesday. If nothing else comes out of this downturn, it should be the return of full professional service to the buyer.
